This question was voided on 31 August 2016 due to uncertainty over how the question would resolve if a low turnout invalidated the vote. A new question has been launched that explicitly addresses the turn out issue. A referendum scheduled for 2 October 2016 asks Hungarian voters: "Do you want to allow the European Union to mandate the resettlement of non-Hungarian citizens to Hungary without the approval of the National Assembly?"
