House prices in the UK have begun to fall as interest rates rise to 15-year highs (Yahoo Finance UK, Guardian, Bloomberg, Trading Economics - UK Mortgage Rates). The question will be suspended on 31 July 2024 and the outcome determined using Halifax House Price Index data as first reported by Trading Economics (Trading Economics).
