As of the launch of this question, Egypt made its most recent currency devaluation March 2024 as part of a deal reached with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and concerns remain that there could be another as discussions between the Egyptian government and the IMF continue (Yahoo [Bloomberg], US News & World Report, Sada El-Balad English). The outcome will be determined using official exchange rate data as reported by the Central Bank of Egypt (Central Bank of Egypt, see "Sell" column). The "Sell" value on 26 November 2024 was 49.6446, against which 54.5000 would represent a roughly 9.78% increase.
