Before 1 August 2026, will the Supreme Court rule in Trump v. V.O.S. Selections Inc. (V.O.S.) that all of President Trump's "reciprocal tariffs" are either not authorized by the IEEPA or unconstitutional?

V.O.S. and others sued the Trump administration over its "reciprocal tariffs" impositions, asserting that the president's use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs was unlawful and/or unconstitutional (CBS News, White House - Reciprocal Tariff Executive Order, White House - Reciprocal Tariff Executive Order Annex I, Congressional Research Service, SCOTUSblog). Please note that this case was considered alongside Oregon v. Trump, which relates to "trafficking tariffs" and "reciprocal tariffs." V.O.S. and others won at both the trial (Court of International Trade) and appellate (Federal Circuit) levels, and the Trump administration appealed (Court of International Trade, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, CNBC, Trump v. V.O.S. - Petition for Certiorari). Any decision related to tariffs imposed against Canada, China, and Mexico regarding fentanyl trafficking is immaterial (White House - Trafficking Tariffs). If the Supreme Court remands the case for further considerations by a lower court without definitively ruling that the "reciprocal tariffs" are either not authorized by the IEEPA or unconstitutional, the question will close "No." If the Supreme Court declines to hear the case, the question will close "No." Whether the Supreme Court rules that any or all "reciprocal tariffs" may survive under another statute is immaterial.
